Terms & Conditions
TERMS: Net 30 days to credit approved accounts. Accounts unable to stay within terms and are 60 Days beyond the invoice date will have their terms chamged to COD. It shall be the FULL RESPONSIBILTY of the customer to insure payments are mailed to ARRIVE at GML/PAS ON TIME.
NEW ACCOUNTS: New Accounts are shipped COD (Cash) or with a pre-approved Credit Card. A copy of your Business License and Sales Tax Certificate must be supplied with your initial order. To obtain credit, 3 trade references and banking information must be submitted. Allow 4-6 weeks for a credit decision.
CREDIT CARDS: Discover, Mastercard & Visa All Credit Cards must be used at time of order. Cards used to pay off balances will be assed a 2.5% service charge.
PRICING: Prices are FOB, 2302 Defoor Hills Road, Atlanta, Georgia, unless drop shipped or otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. See accompanying Price List for all pricing.
MINIMUM ORDER: $20.00. Orders not meeting minimum incur an additional $3.50 Minimum Order Charge.
BACK ORDERS: When goods ordered in Cs Qty cannot be filled in total, the customer will receive the full cs price. The order will be considered as complete unless the customer specifically requests a Back Order be generated. GML will make every effort to contact customers before shipping if goods are short. If customers are not there or have a recorder and are thus unreachable, GML/PAS will use their best judgement what to ship or not ship.
ADD ONS: GML/PAS makes every effort to process your orders immediately. Add ons of the same day are accepted with no minimum or extra charges. We cannot guarantee it will be shipped aggregately with previous order(s). In this case, shipping charges as a separate order would apply.
Damage: GML/PAS is not responsible for damage incurred in transit. Claims must be filed directly by the con-signee with the delivering carrier.
Marble Damage: GML strongly recommends NOT TO USE UPS as a delivering carrier for marble. Breakage is common and UPS will not bear responsibility. If claims become too frequent, GML will advise. Then marble will only be shipped via UPS with all potential damages being your responsibility.
Shortages: These must be noted at time of delivery with carrier. COUNT your merchandise carefully before signing and accepting any delivery bills. Pick Up orders: IF YOU MUST HAVE AN ITEM FOR AN ORDER THAT DAY, verify the item(s) is (are) there and the count(s) is (are) accurate at pick up. If you send a driver, make sure they know what is essential.
Defects: GML/PAS and our suppliers stand behind any legitimate manufacturing or quality defect.
Replacements/Corrections: If GML/PAS bears RESPONSIBILITY for replacing goods, GML/PAS will reship at our expense via the SAME METHOD as original shipment. Pickup corrections will be sent at our expense via regular UPS ground service. EXPEDITED SERVICES, unless originally shipped via this method, will be AT THE CUSTOMER’S EXPENSE. Specifically note this when your goods are ordered to arrive on a Friday for use in weekend needs, deliveries, activities, banquets, presentations or any other commitments.
RETURNS: Authorization to return merchandise must be submitted in writing and approved by us in advance. All returned goods are subject to a minimum 20% re-stocking fee. Year Dated material will not be allowed to be returned after August 31 of that year. Merchandise deemed seasonal can only be returned with a 50% restocking fee. Goods not returned as originally packaged and shipped, will not be credited in full. Goods returned in “unsaleable condition,” will receive no credit. Merchandise incorrectly ordered by customers must be returned at their expense. All claims for returns must be made within 21 days of delivery to you and be physically returned within 45 days of purchase without exception.
NSF: Returned checks: $22.00 fee. Accounts with a second NSF will be placed on cash or certified check terms.
HANDLING AND SPECIAL CHARGES: All UPS shipments will have a $1.95 handling fee per shipment; Truck—$7.00 per pallet; Bus—$5.00 per shipment; Delivery to Bus Station—$38.00. Post Office—$7.50 per shipment; Delivery to Post Office $3.50/box ($10.00 minimum). Merchandise not ordered in full Cs Qtys will be assessed additional charges, based on length of time required for pulling and packing supplies needed.
